Eduardo's Baptism

Hey everyone! 
So this past week was great! We had Eduardo and Miguel's baptism yesterday! They didn't get confirmed yet, but next sunday they will! But let's talk about them!





So last last saturday their parents found us in the street, and after talking they went to an activity that we had and we kept visiting them from that point. They were inactive for quite a while, but they told us that they want to come back. It has been cool to see how their parents and their kids have progressed! But yeah, they are going to get confirmed this sunday! We are also starting to work with their friends as well! Eduardo and Miguel have a ton of friends that live by them, and we are hoping that we can have success with their friends as well! 

We also contacted this lady and her younger daughter that work in a lavanderia (laundromat). They are super cool! We passed by their house last week and taught a short lesson about the first half of the restoration, and she expressed her desire to find the right church for her and her family. She has some good questions, but the funny thing is, her daughter that is like 10 years or so has more questions that her! She is hilarious as well! But they have been reading the Book of Mormon and are very interested. The only thing is, that she can't go to church on sundays because she works. But we have asked her to see if she can get permission to arrive later for work.

Mexican Independance

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
