Sudden Things

Hey everyone. So this past week was going really great, until saturday. But let's talk about that!

So we were setting things up really well this week. we had some cool experiences!
Monday we visited a family with our mission leader and his son, it was a cool spiritual time! And tuesday we also had another cool experience. We visited another family with one of the counselors and we made more connections with them than ever before! 

We also had a cool experience with Osvaldo, and got to see how he has grown spiritually since him and his family have returned to church! He also got to do baptize people in the temple because he is a priest!!

And then, we went with this family during the week, and found their grandkid Carlos who is 9 and is not baptized. After talking with him and his grandparents, they want him to get baptized! So we are going with them tonight to see if we can baptize him this weekend! 

And then, we were progressing well with Brandon, but when we went with him on saturday we found out that he is going with his other grandparents for a week or two. So we won't be able to baptize him for a time. And we still have to work more with his parents. But yeah! 

Also, our stake has sports activities every friday. But the majority of the people that go are from our ward. So it's basically a ward activity. But we had 2 investigators there and it was fun! 

And sadly, we didn't have anyone come to church with us... But we are working hard and hoping to have some miracles in these next short weeks! Anyways. I love you all! Keep going strong!

What's up everybody? So this past week was quite interesting. We found some interesting people and ate some good stuff.  So let's get into it. So first of the interesting people we found, is an athiest named Sergio and his daughter Atica. And actually, for being an athiest, he is pretty receptive. He said that he doesn't believe in God because there is no solid proof. We had a little talk with them and why they believe what they believe (or rather lack thereof), and what we believe. We shall them this week again. We also found this family who is very devout to the baptist church. When we got there, they told us that they were preparing for their sunday school class the next day. And that they had never talken with us before. So we were talked with them and they had a ton of questions about a ton of stuff. ! Week Countdown

Oh hi, didn't see you there! First things first, Happy Birthday CRYSTAL! ¡Feliz Cumpleaños! (Sorry it's a bit late) And it's sad to see the Stake Presidency get released! But it's cool to see the new one! So the past week has been crazy once again! Including 2 more intercambios and 4 baptisms with the Elders in Sabinas 2, whom my comp baptized one of them.  So wednesday I went on changes with Elder Diaz from Argentina, and it went great. We ended up going to a part of my area that I had never even been to before. And found two new investigators within like 30 minutes. Then thursday it went back to normal. Then friday I went on another change with Elder Schoenberger from Arizona while my comp was doing baptism interviews for Sabinas 2. We went and visited a family of less actives in Agujita and commited two of them to get baptized on the 24th. The hard part with them though, is getting them to church. Slow and Steady

Hey friends and family!  So this past week was quite slow, and cold, and still good.  One thing from the past week, was that we started contacting more using the Book of Mormon. Before, it was usually a typical contact asking them about their beliefs, and who they are. But we started contacting people using the Book of Mormon as a base. And I think we are going to keep doing that too!  But another thing, that was rather sad, was that nearly all of the citas we had fell through. The whole week. Except for like 3 or something like that. So we have to work better than that. Also, there was a special broadcast for all of Mexico on Sunday, presided by Elder Rasband. And it was fantastic. It spoke a lot about the importance of temples, and always having a valid temple recommend.
