Focusing on Youth

Hey everyone! How have you all been?

So this past week was tranquilo, as they say. Our focus was looking for less-actives and inviting youth to the mutual on saturday. 

We found a few people during the week that showed some great promise! And had lessons with a few others! There is a less active member that we found 2 weeks ago, Jose (who owns the DJ stuff), and his girlfriend Margarita that has a small daughter. We visited Jose and Margarita this past week and it went great! We talked about the different chapters that they read in the Book of Mormon and then the next time we talked about the Restoration. Margarita is really receptive and interested in learning more. Unfortunately, they didn't make it to church. But they are really cool! This week we plan on teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and law of Chastity.

We also met this other guy, who we ended up talking with for quite a while, and it was an interesting experience. That's about all I can say about that.

We weren't able to visit Gabriela and Noe this past week, but this week we will! We also visited with Elena when she came last weekend and helped her set up her LDS account. It was cool! 

And then we had 3 new youth at the mutual on Saturday, who were the bishop's nephews. They aren't members, so we are going to work with them too! It was a good mutual. We played soccer and volleyball!

So yeah! It was a good week! I hope that you all do well, and keep going strong! Like always! Love y'all!

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
