Fantastic Week

Hey people! 

So, let's talk about this past week. First of all, while we were looking for inactive members Tuesday morning, we got a call from the secrataries and I had to go to Saltillo for stuff for my visa. So later that day I went down to Saltillo. The next day we went to the Immigration office, which really was an old house turned into an office, and signed some papers. Then Elder Atkin, my bro, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings before going back north to our areas. It was dope. 

We talked with Gerardo with a member with us. It was really good because the member was super direct with him about praying and reading to get an answer. And it was necessary. We are going back tonight to see how it went. 

So later, we had a cita with Carmen, and we set a fecha with her for the 2nd of February. Carmen is an older lady that we found in the registros. She has a son and his family that are members. She lives alone, and likes to learn more. She was at church this Sunday too! 

Later, our fecha we had with Gabriela has fallen. But the good news, she came to church with us this week! She finally came! So we are hoping that with this obstacle past, we can reput a fecha with her, possibly for the 2nd as well!

And then, we are teaching a reference we received a while back, name Maricela. She didn't come to church with us, but she seems open to our messages and also has family that are members. We hope to put a fecha with her this week too. 

And then again, Elena has made new progress. Elena and her mom ran into a problem of some sort with her dad, and now they don't want anything to do with him. It's sad, but at the same time her dad was the person impeding Elena from getting baptized. And now, she has taken the decision that February 2nd will be the day of her baptism. So that is for sure this time!! And I believe that to be everything! I love you all, and I hope you all are well!
