Attack of the Bird

Hello everyone!

So this past week was rather interesting, to say the least. A lot of weird stuff happened. But we also had our baptism for Lalo!! So that was great!

So first, it was been raining every... single... day... And the worst part, is that our street of our house floods super easily. So needless to say, I've gotten soaked. And my umbrella is broken. So that doesn't help.

And despite the fact that there is a ton of water in the environment, we have no water in the house. Our water problems have once again returned... So that is kinda lame.

And then, friday I got a killer food poisoning attack or something. Becuase I had a stomach ache and diarrhea. Not soo fun. So the Elders in Guayulera came to help us out for part of the day in divisions. But with no water in the house, we couldn't really flush the toilet super well for part of the day... so yeah...

Then Saturday, we had the baptism of Lalo! And while we were preparing for the baptism, this lady walked into the church and asked how she can learn more about our church. She told us that she has gone to a few different churches, but has been looking for the true church. Her name is Guadelupe and is very promising!

Then Lalo's baptism went really well! It was quite organized (by us :D) and Pres. Cahoon came with his wife too! My comp baptized him and then I confirmed him! It was super awesome!

And funny story. We were at a FHE yesterday Sunday. And after we had a little bit of food. And this family has this parrot named Leo. So while we were eating, we hear the flap of wings behind us. Then, this green bird comes flying in front of my face and above my food, then continues his way and lands on my comp“s plate and he like freaks out. "LEO!! NO! QUITASE" And everyone just starts busting up laughing. So here's a picture of that parrot.

So yeah. That was the past week. I hope you all are doing great! Love y'all!
