The Bane of the Week

So there seems to be a pattern that we have seen here in Obregón. It seems that during the week, a lot of cool stuff happens. But on Sunday, it is a disappointment. But there was another disappointment too. We still don't have water in our house. But everything will be fine.

We had 8 people planned to attend church with us, and out of those 8, only 1 person showed up. Who was Carlos. And that was another disappointment. That he still hasn't gotten baptized. Though we are going to try and do everything possible to baptize him this weekend. Though it is a possibility that he will be out of town. Again. 

So this week we started working a little more inteligently. We invited Hno. Garay and his wife to accompany us to an appointment with Silvia. But Silvia wasn't there when we went. Though her husband was and we had a little lesson with him instead. So that was better than nothing. 

Then we kept meeting with Aimar last week too, and she really is super smart. She also has a fecha for the 15 of august. Though she wasn't able to make it to church. 

We also went to see Cesar with the three Cárdenas kids. It was a good lesson. But Cesar didn't make it to church either. 

We also found a new kid who seems pretty promising, named Edgar. He is cool and seems very open to talk to us. 

Anyways, those are the updates from the week. Pretty cool. We are hoping to get these people baptized. So we will work on that! Love you all! Keep going strong!

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
