News Week

Image
So this past week was full of news. Both good and bad. So, I am going to put in all the bad news first. Then the good news. Let's go. The Bad: So Itzel and Sergio have moved back to Ramos Arizpe to live with their dad once again. So they are no longer here... Carlos didn't want to get baptized last weekend because his family wouldn't make it and also we haven't taught everything just yet. We had set a baptismal date with a family for this weekend, but they didn't come to church. The part member families we are teaching haven't come to church. We need to get them to church. The Good:  Carlos will 99% likely get baptized this weekend.  We had found Silvia once again, after a while. She expressed her desire to get baptized, along with 2 of her kids. So we planned on getting them baptized this weekend too. Although they never went to church, so another date will have to be put for them. (Which is who I mentioned above) Cesar came to church! He ...

The Baptism of Beatriz!

Image
Hello peoples of the universe! How are you? I am fantastic thanks.  So we had the baptism of Beatriz after last week's letter. And it went great! My old comp baptized her and I confirmed her that same day, because she left the next because her daughter is getting operated on. But it was cool.  Tuesday I went on exchanges with Elder Bayona for the day.  Wednesday we met with Carlos and Itzel and Sergio.  Thursday we had most of our citas cancel, but we met with Cesar and also the Cuellar family, who has a daughter that isn't baptized. And she is actually probably the smarted little girl I have ever met. When we went back to visit her after the first visit, she explained to us the Restoration pamphlet like perfectly. And never before have I seen someone actually read the pamphlet, understand it, and explain it back so well than the 10 year old Eimar. Really insane. Friday we had little exchanges too because our neighboring ward was baptizing a f...

Before the Baptism (and a good week)

What's up everybody! So tonight we are baptizing and confirming Beatriz at 6! So that is awesome! She is basically a member already. I'll tell you how that went next week!;) Then on Sunday we passed by Chareny and had a talk with them. It was basically just to see if they wanted to progress or if it really just was a busy work schedule. It turns out it was just a busy work schedule. We had a nice lesson about the first part of lesson 1 too. They can definitely progress still. Just with some work.  Carlos was super busy last week so we weren't able to teach him. But he said this week he will be free after tuesday. So we are going to try and get him baptized as well either this saturday or the next! And Sergio and Itzel should get baptized this weekend too if they don't have the thought they do now. They are really good kids, it's just that they feel they need a lot of preparation to get baptized. But they are young and understand really well. So they should ...

A Great Week

Image
So first off. How is everyone doing? How are your lives? This past day (basically) has been quite crazy for Mexico. The elections were yesterday to decide the next Mexican President, and now for the third time in the history of Mexico, the next president is from a political party other than PRI. So that's interesting. Also Mexico lost to Brazil in the World Cup. So that was kind of sad to hear. Also it now July. Wait. How is it July already? It just barely turned 19 how is it July? Anyways, now let's get on with the good stuff, shall we? So this past week has been great. We had Beatriz at church once again, who came alone with her 2 kids as her husband had to work. She is still preparing to get baptized and is a super powerful person and will definitely be a great leader for others. We also set up an appointment with Carlos for the first time, who has been to church for like a month now. So that will be awesome as well, as we start to teach him. I believe he will be ba...
