Obregón... Ups and Downs... And General Conference

Oh hi, didn't see you there. 

This past week has been quite crazy. 

First, the week started off good as I arrived in Saltillo and got working with my new comp, Elder Garcia. Then on wednesday night, Elder Garcia got sick. Which threw off basically the rest of our working days for this week. 

Then saturday came along with General Conference!! That was super exciting to hear about the newly ordained apostles, Elder Gong and Elder Soares. Along with all the changes to home and visiting teaching to minstering and the Elders Quorom and High Priest's group forming together. It was quite interesting though, as all of it was in Spanish and the sessions on Sunday were an hour later for us because the time changed Saturday night between sessions. But all in all, hearing the advice that the apostles and prophets have for us is always edifying and uplifting. But now to go and listen to all of them again in English!:P

And then today we went bowling and ate some hamburgers. Though I lost in bowling. But hey, pulling off spins is kinda hard.


Also, there is a Buffalo Wild Wings here in Saltillo. Shoutout to Nate.

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
