A Marvelous Work and A Wonder... And Zone Conference

How's it going everybody? So I got some news this week. Good news, if you will. So let's get on with it!!!

First off, Zone Conference was on Friday, which took up like the whole day because we had interviews the same day after the conference and we were playing volleyball. So that was fun! But I don't have any pictures so that's nice. But Zone Conference was really, really good. It was all about faith and obedience, which are two of the main principles of missionary work. We also talked about 3 of the things that nearly all missionaries struggle with, which was from a talk by Elder Holland that he gave in the MTC some odd years ago. And basically, Elder Holland knows missionaries very well.

Next thing. So Hector has two kids, ages 11 and 8, who aren't members. He has been bringing them to church the past few Sundays, and this Sunday we were able to talk with him and his two kids about teaching them. Though his daughter, 8, wouldn't be a "convert" baptism. But while we were talking to them, his son said that he wants to be baptized as soon as possible!! We were kind of thrown off for a little bit there. But we quickly recovered and talked with them to set up a time to teach them during this week, and now we are going to have a baptismal service for his two kids either this weekend or the next!! It's awesome to see the Lord's hand as we exercise our obedience and diligence. I'm not perfect still and I won't be perfect in this life either. But as we are obedient to the commandments, Padre Celestial nos bendice.

Okay. So that's awesome!!! And we continue.
So we have another investigator, Alicia, who lives in our area but has been going to the other branch Sabinas 2 for about 6 months now. So we visited her this past week, and she lives with her mom and her grandma, and her uncle lives right next door, who is a member. Her mom and her grandma are both Catholics that don't quite understand authority and the Restoration, but I believe that Alicia is prepared to be baptized too. After we teach her a few lessons, of course, So we are continuing to work hard and hopefully we'll have a baptismal date for Alicia too for February sometime.

Anyhow, that's all I got. Love y'all! Keep doing what you're doing, and do it well!
