Crazy, well maybe not as crazy, Week

Hey everybody!

So this past week had some cool stuff happen. One of which was that our new president arrived, President Meza!

So friday we had a conference with our new President and his wife, and family! It was really cool! He is going to run things pretty similar to the way President Cahoon did, so that is cool! He also has 3 kids, ages 11, 8 and 2. (I think) It will be fun to get to know them for the rest of my mission!

Also, I was called to be the new District Leader. So, wednesday I ended up doing an interview for the hermanas in our district and also was in intercambios at the same time. But the interview that I had was a special experience. The lady that I was interviewing wasn't exactly certain that she wanted to get baptized at the start. But after talking with her, I said something that just changed her whole perspective about baptism, and when I asked if she wanted to get baptized she replied "Of course I do." Her baptism was saturday and it went great! Her name is Martha.

Anyways, we have still been struggling to find new people, So that is still our focus for this week. Anyways, I love you all! Keep going strong!
