Christmas Around The Corner

Hey everybody! I got exciting news! NEXT WEEK IS CHRISTMAS!! Wew! Ok, 

So this past week went pretty good! We have a focus on getting referrals from members and working with them. And it works great.

So, We went about inviting the members when we ate with them to think of people who we could go visit. And we received some pretty good referrals! One of them was this lady named Isabel, who has had some problems with her husband before. She expressed her desire to find Christ and our talk with her went really well. She can progress well!

We also received a referral from Chihuahua from a member. The referral was this person's aunt, named Maricela. She is somewhat sick, and wants us to visit her. We just talked with her outside her house for a short time and we are going back tomorrow. 

And we talked with Gabriela and her husband too. Though, her husband said to wait until January if Gabriela is going to be baptized to start the year good. So we'll work with them more.

And finally, we had a great talk with Elena and a member who was in a similar experience for her baptism. It went really well, and we had a talk about taking the determination to do things even if other people don't want us to. In this case, her dad doesn't want her to get baptized. But it went really well and we have a fecha with her for the 29th of December. With faith, she will go through with it too if her dad doesn't change. 

Oh, and we also had our Christmas activity on friday, and a part member family came to it! Though, the one person who is a member wasn't there, his family was! So that was cool!

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
