Cambios Extraños

Hey everyone! So, monday night I got a call from the assistants. And basically, I have been changed to Monclova, in barrio Tecnologico. So that was very unexpected, but now I am here and it will be a cool experience. 

My new companion is Elder Sandoval. He is from Texas and already spoke spanish before! He is cool!

So now that I am here in Tecno, I'll see if I can update you on all the people we have. So first, there is this young woman named Elena who is 18, I believe. Anyways, she has already been taught everything, and was going to get baptized the week before I got here, but then it didn't happen. So basically, she wants to have both of her parents there for the baptism. And the problem is, that her dad can't do it on the weekends, and Elena can't do it during the week because she studies in Monterrey. So that will probably have to happen in November during vacation time. 

There are also a few other people too. The husband of an hermana in the ward isn't a member, and neither is her son who is 8 years old. We are having an FHE with them this week.

We also spent a day going with Elian, who is a guy preparing to go on a mission in our ward, and also the boyfriend of Elena, to visit people who are possibly not member families. We didn't find anyone golden, but only a few potential people. And besides that, I dont know what else to say!

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well.
