! Week Countdown
Oh hi, didn't see you there!
First things first, Happy Birthday CRYSTAL! ¡Feliz Cumpleaños! (Sorry it's a bit late)
And it's sad to see the Stake Presidency get released! But it's cool to see the new one!
So the past week has been crazy once again! Including 2 more intercambios and 4 baptisms with the Elders in Sabinas 2, whom my comp baptized one of them.
So wednesday I went on changes with Elder Diaz from Argentina, and it went great. We ended up going to a part of my area that I had never even been to before. And found two new investigators within like 30 minutes. Then thursday it went back to normal. Then friday I went on another change with Elder Schoenberger from Arizona while my comp was doing baptism interviews for Sabinas 2. We went and visited a family of less actives in Agujita and commited two of them to get baptized on the 24th. The hard part with them though, is getting them to church. Because the husband works on sundays, and his wife goes to work on the ranch on sundays. But his wife and their daughter could still make it to church if we work it out.
Then Saturday we went back to the part that we had never really been to before and found a few more investigators to start teaching. Then after a late lunch, we went back to work and then later to the baptism at Sabinas 2. Then on Sunday we had the confirmation of Alejandro and one of our investigators, Roman, came to church. Roman is the husband of a member who hasn't really come to church since she was little. So that was awesome to see them back at church.
Then today was a lot of back and forth so far. After doing a bit at the house, we went to the Gutierrez to buy some food. Then back to the house. Then to the Oxxo to look for cream cheese. Then to Soriana to look for cream cheese. Shoot, they only have 3 and we need 5. Then we met up with Elder Schoenberger and Elder Escobedo and after looking in a few more places, found 2 more boxes of the Philadelphia cream cheese in the Pharmacia Guadalajara. Then we went back to the house. Then me and Elder Escobedo went to get our hair cut. Then we went to the chapel. Then to an Express 57 to get coupons. Then to Pappa's Grill to use one of the coupons to buy a pizza. Then back to the chapel. Then back to Pappa's Grill for another pizza with our other coupon because we were still hungry. And then back to the house to get ready and then come to the ciber to write. Quite the back and forth today. But it was good! Elder Hayden made 2 cheesecakes for tomorrow and for my birthday next week! So that's cool!
That's it for this week! Love you all! Keep going strong! And do what is right!
