The First Week of Transfers

Hey y'all! Whater y'all up to? I hear the home stake will be getting a new stake presidency! That's pretty exciting! Though I'll miss the old one. And apparently Kassidy got married!? ¡FELICIDADES!

So this past week was alright. Our branch had two little activities, one on friday and another on saturday. The one on friday was a family activity for el día del amor y la amistad, or in english, Single's Awareness Day. And on saturday, it was a dance/dinner thing for adults. And for both of those, we had one investigator come!! Tis the life of the mission. And sorry, I don't have any pictures of that...

The new elder in Sabinas 1 is Elder Feria from Sonora! Which is like two states away from Coahuila! So that's cool. 

We have two new families that we have just contacted last week. One of them is just a mom and her daughter, and the other is the parents and like 4 kids and the husband of one of the daughters (though we don't know if they are married or not). It turns out a lot of people in Mexico live with each other without being married. It's quite the problem here. Anyways, both of those two families are awesome and have a lot of potential! 

And then this week, the wife of Presiden Flores has a reference for us of a mom that has two kids who aren't baptized yet. So she is planning an FHE to have with them! So that should be really good! Whenever it happens!

And then if everything works out great, we will have the baptism of Alejandro this Sunday! Though working with his dad is super frustrating because he is like always working. But yeah! good things on the way!

Mexican Independance

Hello people! So back once again here. Let's get into this letter. Which won't be too long because there isn't much too say. So on Wednesday, I went on a quick intercambio with Elder Diaz, who I was with for a time in Sabinas. So that was awesome, though the people that went looking for weren't home. And then after we ended the exchange and went to a FHE with our most recent convert Lalo and his family. We invited this missionary who served in this mission before who happened to be here to come. But then him and his bishop turned our FHE into their business proposal... So that was interesting. There was this person that we were teaching, Diana, who was really open and interested. The only problem was, that her parents are very, very against us. So that was a big bummer. She can't progress right now because of her parents. And Saturday was a busy day as well. We had our cita with Gaby, who is interested, but doesn't want to come to church. And finding...
