Hey Hey Everybody!!  So this past week was good! First off, we had our last conference with Pres. Cahoon, and he talked about 6 things that we need to do to endure to the end and keep going forward! It was a really good conference!    We continued to work hard and find new people to teach. Well, the majority of the week was ok, but towards sunday night was when things got interesting! During the whole week, we didn't really find someone with a lot of potential. But we did find the house of a less-active from a while ago. He lives there with his family, and none of them are members. His whole family is really nice to us, but we still haven't met the member because he works a lot! But we are trying to work with them! But sunday, sadly we didn't have anyone at church again. But after praying to know where to go in the afternoon, Elder Brooke thought of a family that someone had told him about, so we went. And we found this family that is cool! They have a ...

Hey everyone! How is it going? So this past week was better than the last one. That is for sure! We were actually able to work a decent amount! We were able to find a few people that have potential! Like a family that was baptized a while ago and has some grandkids that aren't baptized. But when it came to sunday, they didn't seem as excited as they were when we found them. Also, one of their grandkids is going to Guerrero for 2 months during vacations this week. So they won't be home. We also had an activity for Father's Day on friday, and a sister of a recent convert came to the activity! She has like 13/14 years of age. Although she didn't make it to church either! But we are in that battle of getting people to church.  Also my comp has been recovering very well since the ingrown toenail! So that is good! And today we got with our district because Elder Diaz finishes his mission next week! So we made some hot dogs and played sports! It was fun! ...

Well everyone! Let's talk about one of the worst of the mission yet! Haha! Mostly because we were sick. But let's talk about that! So basically, we spent 3 days in the house. Because ALL of us were sick. We believe it to be some kind of infection from food. But who knows? Anyways, so monday night I started getting a hot fever with a killer headache. And then a few hours later my comp starts getting the same thing (All the while we have diarhea). And then, we spent half of tuesday in the house. All of wednesday, we spent inside as well. Thursday, we all got feeling better and went out and worked. And then friday, We had a good day planned to go and work. But then Elder Brooke was feeling worse than yesterday, and had to stay inside all day as well. Saturday was about half and half. We felt a little sick, but managed to get some things done during the day. SO yeah! Sunday we all felt better and now we all feel fine. But it was a terrible week, health wise. Anyways, we w...

Smithy

Hey everybody!  So this past week was made with a change. We got a call monday night that told us that we were going to be in one more trio. Yes, once again we are in a trio. Our new comp is Elder Smith! He is also from Arizona and has about 18/19 months in the mission. He got here on Tuesday and it has been super cool to be with him! So, we had 3 people at church on sunday! 2 of them were Yuliana and her daughter Evelin! They finally came to church!! They have been progressing more last week! Yuli always has some good questions for us and she is really friendly. We are hoping to put a fecha with her and her daughter sometime this week. We are also setting up more activities with the youth. Yesterday we passed by a youth in our ward and invited him to invite other friends to play basketball or futbol. And he seemed very excited to invite some friends. It is something that we are putting more effort into to encourage the youth to invite friends. We hope it will brin...
